Vietnam joins the FTSE secondary emerging index on 21 September 2026, and the money that tracks it buys on a schedule. The research does not. Since Circular 68/2024/TT-BTC, listed companies must disclose in English — but the Vietnamese version prevails in a discrepancy, ad hoc disclosure only became an English obligation in January 2026, and the English archive is therefore about a year deep against a Vietnamese record that runs for a decade.
